The Slavens Test Lab reviews products and riding gear used for dirt bikes, dual-sport, and adventure bikes. The test will be conducted and reviewed by Jeff Slavens who will be assisted by other experienced riders from each category.
Each product will be critiqued for ease of installation, fitment, performance, function, overall quality, customer support, and price versus value. No score will be assessed, just an honest explanation and review of our experience with the product.
Most products will be purchased, some will be donated but NONE will receive a favorable review in exchange for personal or business favors, a standard practice on many sites.

The new Ohlins damper utilizes a sub-mount (under the handlebars) mounting system that does not raise the handlebar position.
